Chimes Bless Chapel

The chimes played for the chapel service today. They shared a musical version of Jesus loves me, some of those listening even sang along. Principal Dave Wittig shared a message “be a bridge builder not a fence builder.” It was a great way to start the day.

Fun in the Sun

More than 170 people came out to enjoy Trinity’s Beach Worship and Party this year.  Puuiki Beach Park was the setting for a worship service focused on God’s creation.  Pastor Shawn spoke about how God provides for us and how we should return thanks and even return what we have when we are done with it.  Each table had fun describing how their objects, from cameras to soap to tea, said something about God.  After worship everyone enjoyed a potluck followed by games for little children and a kickball game.  The Kung Fu Kickers won the game by two points, 24 to 22 over the Kickin’ It Old School team.  Afterwards people settled into playing at the beach or playing games of BINGO or a playdough version of pictionary in the pavilion.   Thank you to everyone who helped to organize the event especially the worship team who organized the games and food.
