Praise, Potluck and Partying at Puuiki Beach Park

Filed under: Hololani, Trinity — trinityhawaii @ 10:45 pm

Thanks to everyone who celebrated at the Beach Party on Sunday.  Nearly 150 people enjoyed the worship, food, games and beachtime.  Thanks also to all who volunteered to help with the planning, set up, games and clean up.  It was a great day!  In Kickball news the Broncos rose to victory this year under the expert coaching of Mr. Wittig, no doubt the Sharks will be on the hunt for a victory next year on the victory minded coaching of Mr. Gavin.

Bravo Erik!

Erik was accepted into the Concert Strings Orchestra(CSO) of the Honolulu Youth Symphony!  The CSO is the highest level among the four different strings orchestra groups through the HYS.  Now the hard work begins, two hours of rehearsal every Saturday.  Congratulations to Erik on this great accomplishment.

Mark and Niki are former members at Trinity Lutheran Church

**

We are doing great over here – just busy as usual. Joe is growing and learning new things every day. He’s on the verge of walking so that will be a new thing to add to my day… We are expecting Baby #2 at the end of January. We should find out if we’re having a boy or a girl this coming Wednesday, so we’re looking forward to that.

How are things over there? I would love to spend some time in Hawaii right now!! :) We did make it over there around Joe’s first birthday which was wonderful. We really wanted to get to a service while we were there but couldn’t work it out – hopefully next time!

Alright, I should get back to work… it’s great to hear from you! Here are a couple recent photos of Joe, too – he is quite the character.

All our best,

Nicole
