Trinity Welcomes New Director of Music and Gives Thanks for Jackie’s Ministry

Paulette has begun playing organ and piano for Trinity’s worship service.   This Sunday she will be installed as the Director of Music at Trinity.  She comes to us after serving St. John in Battle Creek, Michigan.  She has played organ for 35 years after starting on the piano, which she played for Sunday School openings (she told her parents she was bored of piano so they introduced her to the organ).   We thank God for the gift of Paulette and look forward the years of ministry ahead.

As Paulette begins this work we also share in a great thankfulness to Jackie for her years of ministry as the Church Organist.  Jackie generously offered her help after the death of Ruth and served in this ministry while another organist was found to fill the position of Director of Music.  Although beginning her work with a short interim in mind, Jackie served for over two years.  We give thanks to God for Jackies gift to Trinity of worship music.

  1. I give Jackie’s playing “2 thumbs up!” Praise God for her willingness to play for us on a temporary basis. Trinity Lutheran Church lacks not for talent within its members.
