Trinity Students Explore Sumida Farms

The students at Trinity were treated to a unique visit to the watercress farm at Sumida Farms.  Their gracious host was David who introduced himself as Uncle David.  The farm has been in the family for three generations and a simple google search on Sumida Farm shows how much a part of the community they are as well as blessing many schools with their teaching at field trips.  The kids also got to see the last step of the harvesting with the large machine that create a vacuum to remove the water from the watercress in order to help them to last longer.   A big thank you from our hearts at Trinity Lutheran to you Sumida Farms!
