Teachers Confer

Teachers and Administrators from the seven Lutheran schools*

in Hawaii got together at the Hale Koa for a teacher’s conference on Thursday and Friday. The keynote speaker was Lori Aadsen who spoke about her ministry in linking the mission of a church and school together.  Many of the sectional speakers also shared topics on the same subject.

The only picture I had the chance to get a hold of was at the evening banquet, here are some of our teachers – from left to right – Maureen Tengbergen (Preschool 3), Lani Carson (Preschool 4), Megan Fedder (8th grade homeroom), Kathy Gustine (2nd grade) and Jenny Burton (4th grade).

* the seven Lutheran schools are Trinity Lutheran-Wahiawa (Preschool-8th), Our Savior – Aiea (PreS-8th), Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool in Liliha/Honolulu, St. Mark – Kaneohe (Kindergarten-8th), Our Redeemer – Honolulu (K-8th), Emmanuel-Kahului, Maui (K-8th), and Lutheran High School – Honolulu.
