Poem in your Pocket

image

Roses are red, violets are blue
I have a poem in my pocket
How about you?

Children shared their poems with all the students today.  Thank you to Paul Krueger, eighth grade homeroom and language arts teacher, for promoting and coordinating the poetry sharing time.  The field was full of excitement, laughs and sharing!

Thank you so much to the PTT for coordinating a great event this year.  The more than two hundred people who attended enjoyed great food from Da Pokeman, Music from ‘Ekolu Makou, Dance from Akala Dance Studio in Ewa Beach, a silent auction with over $10,000 in merchandise, a keiki auction where children “bid” on prizes by adding their tickets to containers from which a winning ticket was drawn, a lei making booth, balloon creation booth, a bounce castle and more.  Thanks to all the volunteers who made this a successful event.
