Armed Forces Sunday — 22 May 2022

Dear Friends,

Trinity Lutheran Church and School has a decades-long tradition of ministry to the Armed Forces. In fact, in addition to being the full-time Pastor of both church and school, I also serve as a Chaplain with the Hawaii Air National Guard. We at Trinity are humbled and blessed to be able to minister to our Armed Forces. What a true honor to serve God’s people and our nation’s heroes.

On Sunday, 22 May 2022, we will host our Armed Forces Sunday, including patriotic Christian songs, during our 10:00am worship, and a patriotic reception in our parish hall afterwards. During the Message time, we will look at how God honors each service member for his or her service to this great country of ours.

I would like to personally invite you to join us on Armed Forces Sunday. We also invite all those currently-serving Service Members and those who have retired (our DD-214 friends!) to wear their dress uniform to church on this occasion so that we may honor you for your service! Nothing would honor God and country more than a sanctuary full of patriotic Americans celebrating God and those who serve our United States!
